Ivan Karpenko is an energy entrepreneur and exploration professional with extensive experience in the upstream oil and gas sector in Ukraine. He has held several senior roles across upstream companies, including positions in exploration management and regional subsurface leadership. Ivan has been responsible for managing large exploration portfolios, overseeing drilling programs, and supporting field development and new discoveries. Currently, he manages part of the exploration operations within the Naftogaz Group and leads a lithium exploration startup focused on pioneering the exploration of deep formation brines as a source of critical raw materials in Ukraine.
