The inaugural International Business Conference (IBC) in Georgetown, Guyana during 15th -17th October 2024, under the theme of ‘Guyana: The Gateway to Opportunities’.

The International Business Conference (IBC) is focused on streamlining the ease of doing business and facilitating investments between international businesses and Guyana/Suriname in key sectors of the economy including energy, infrastructure, finance, logistics, business support services, agriculture, and manufacturing.

IBC 2024 is supported by the Guyana Office for Investment and will be hosted by Suriname-Guyana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC). Delivering a private sector led three-day B2B conference and bringing together key local and international role-players to exchange views on business and investment opportunities, to showcase best practice solutions and to forge working partnerships across the key sectors of Guyana’s economy so that all sectors can benefit from the ongoing growth surge.
